At MGA, our commitment to making the complex simple is at the heart of everything we do. One of the most important ways we support a smooth, organized tax process for you is through the MGA Client Portal — a secure, centralized place where you can complete each step of your engagement with clarity and confidence.

Whether you’re logging in for the first time or returning to upload additional documents, this page serves as your go-to MGA Client Portal resource hub. We’ll continue updating it over time with the most helpful guides and short video tutorials, so you always know exactly what to do.

The MGA Client Portal: One Secure Place for Everything

Your client portal is the central platform where you can manage every step of the tax process with ease, including:

    • Receiving and signing your engagement letter(s)
    • Completing your taxpayer information form(s)
    • Uploading documents as you receive them — even directly from your phone
    • Tracking outstanding tasks and requests
    • Accessing your completed tax returns once they’re ready
    • Reviewing and electronically signing completed returns (coming soon!)

By keeping everything in one secure place, you can avoid scattered emails, multiple logins, and unnecessary back-and-forth, making the entire process more streamlined and convenient for you.

Step-by-Step Help, Whenever You Need It

We’ve put together short, step-by-step guides and videos to walk you through each part of the process — from accessing your portal to uploading documents directly from your phone and signing forms — so you always know exactly what to do, at your own pace.

Upload Your Tax Documents as You Receive Them

Uploading your tax documents as you receive them, rather than waiting until everything is collected, helps keep your return moving efficiently. Even if you don’t have every document yet, sending items as they come in allows our team to begin reviewing sooner and reduces delays later in the process.

If your return isn’t ready to be filed by the April 15 deadline, we will file an extension on your behalf. An extension gives additional time to file your return, but it’s important to know it does not extend the time to pay. So even if the return is filed later, the IRS still expects payment by April 15 based on the best estimate available, which is why receiving your tax documents early makes such a difference.

Bottom line: the sooner we have your documents, the more accurate we can be when estimating any extension payment, and the smoother the extension process will be overall.
