MGA Proudly Sponsors the Houston Cellar Classic 2019 Benefiting Genesys Works

For the past three years, MGA has been happy to contribute to the Houston Cellar Classic—Houston’s premier wine-tasting event. One-hundred percent of the net proceeds go directly to Genesys Works Houston, a nonprofit connecting underserved local teens with relevant work experience with Fortune 500 businesses.

We are proud to be a sponsor of this event, and in turn, support this worthy cause.

A Celebration of Wine and Food

This year marks the 15^th anniversary of the Houston Cellar Classic Grand Tasting. Over the years, this event has developed into the most talked-about wine and food party in Houston, with thousands of attendees, chef competitions, live music, and of course, a lot of great wine. Best of all, it’s for a good cause.

The Houston Cellar Classic Food and Wine Festival partners with Genesys Works in making a significant impact on the lives of high school students, effectively breaking the cycle of poverty in underserved neighborhoods in Houston. Last year, they raised almost $100,000 for Genesys Works, and this year, they are hoping to beat that mark.

MGA Gives Back Time and Time Again

At MGA, we make it a point to give back to the community that we love and to support something greater than ourselves.

We have an annual spring day of service where we dedicate our time and energy to helping preserve a well-loved Houston park. We also sponsor many other events throughout the year to support great causes, such as the upcoming Boo Ball Gala benefiting the Houston Ronald McDonald House. Each December, we have a dedicated group of volunteers who help build bikes for CYCLE, a children’s charity that rewards students with new bicycles for achieving better academic performance in the classroom. We go above and beyond to support our team members in their efforts to give back too.
