After an eleven-year hiatus, we are happy to welcome Isabel Lira back to the MGA team. While a lot has changed in the past eleven years, Isabel tells us how nice it is to be welcomed back into a sea of familiar faces.
Isabel can attest first-hand to the unique culture that MGA has created, truly working with each individual on their professional goals and personal priorities. Not only is it what keeps our talented employees hanging around, but it’s also what keeps our former employees coming back.
### What Led Isabel Back to MGA after All These Years
Over the past decade, Isabel has been busy. First, she branched out to another accounting firm. Unsatisfied with the flexibility offered, she then started working with YES Prep Public Schools in Houston.
She worked in the education world for a few years, thinking that the schedule would be an excellent fit for her and her kids. And it was. However, she didn’t expect the emotional challenges that would come with working in such an environment. She learned a lot about herself and her local community by working with this high-performing charter school, but it was taking a toll on her. When she gave her notice, the timing of her former MGA colleagues reaching out seemed too good to be true.
Isabel came back to work with MGA this past summer because the flexibility offered could not be matched. At MGA, Isabel can work toward her professional goals while still focusing on her personal priorities.

### Our Teammates Have the Earned Flexibility on When to Work
We understand that everyone goes through different seasons of life. While MGA has core hours, it allows people who like to work early, or conversely, work late, the independence to do so. Our team members can tailor their work schedules to match their unique personal needs and work during the time of day when their minds are most fresh rather than clocking in and out at specific times.
Our team members stick around at MGA because we do things differently.
