We are pleased to share that MGA has recently been named as one of the 2018 Accounting Today’s Best Accounting Firms to Work for! This award is a reflection on our entire team, and we are all very proud of this accomplishment.

While MGA is technically labeled in the ‘accounting’ industry, we are anything but your normal accounting firm. At MGA, we take complex topics and planning and make them simple for our clients. We are a firm with a holistic approach, and we really want to understand our clients and their businesses. It’s not about a tax return, an audit, or a set of financials. MGA’s Personal Development Program

Recently, this summer, we launched a new personal development program to invest in our people. The program is optional and offered to every single employee who is looking for ways to grow both their personal and professional lives. For this, we are utilizing a Corporate Anthropologist—an outside consultant not from our industry. As a best of the best firm, we make it a top priority to invest in our folks in order to both attract and retain our exceptional talent.

Tell Me More about Accounting Today’s Best Accounting Firms to Work for Award

Accounting Today has partnered with Best Companies Group to identify companies that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. This survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the accounting profession, benefiting its economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 100 firms.

Firms from across the United States entered the two‐part survey process to determine Accounting Today’s Best Accounting Firms to Work for. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top firms and the final ranking.
