MGA Awarded as a Top Scoring Best of the Best Firm for 2018

We are excited to share that MGA has once again been named as an INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) Best of the Best Firm for 2018, scoring in the top 5 percentile of the nation and making this our 12^th year to receive the award. We are honored.

In addition to being named a Best of the Best Firm in the nation, we also scored as a top Best of the Best Firm in our region, were recognized as a Fastest-Growing Firm, and made the list of the IPA 300 Largest Firms in the U.S.

For the past 25 years, INSIDE Public Accounting has been hosting an annual Survey and Analysis of Firms from which they name the Best of the Best public accounting firms in the nation. This group of firms, the highest performers within the profession, are ranked on more than 70 metrics. The 2018 Best of the Best firms produce superior financial results while planning for long-term, sustainable growth.

In 2018, more than 550 firms participated in the IPA Survey and Analysis of Firms. Best of the Best firms represent the top 10% of all firms that participated. IPA’s proprietary scoring formula looks at a variety of metrics related to growth, income, productivity, tools of governance, staff turnover, time management, and other areas that speak to the framework of the firm to determine the Best of the Best.

Best of the Best firms are the peer group to which progressive firms aspire,” says Michael Platt, principal of the Platt Group and publisher of IPA. “In presenting the results of the IPA Best of the Best, we are proud to continue the tradition of expanding the imagination and the understanding of what is possible to achieve in running a public accounting firm.”

Recently, this summer, we launched a new personal development program to invest in our people. The program is optional and offered to every single team member who is looking for ways to grow both their personal and professional lives. For this, we are utilizing a Corporate Anthropologist—an outside consultant not from our industry.
