What are the typical problems that clients are coming to the T.A.S.C. team with?
Most of our clients come to us knowing that something is wrong inside their finance and accounting. They know it takes too long, or they are not getting the results they are seeking. They don’t have the reports they want and just can’t figure out what they really need — the things to tell their accounting staff to give them. Others come to us because they know they’re spending a lot of money on accounting, but they don’t understand why.
When we meet with a prospective client, the first thing they want to know is how can they make their accounting faster and less costly without hiring another person. They want to know the things that we do at MGA to save us money and make us more efficient.
What are the solutions that the T.A.S.C. team is offering them?
The first thing we do is we share what we do. We show them all the products that we use here at MGA to save both time and money.
For example, if their company is still cutting checks, that’s an immediate red flag to us, as that’s dangerous nowadays. As a solution, we introduce them to online payables. We also take a look at their spending, and if they pay everything with a company credit card, then we suggest a product to help them manage their receipts for backup. The add-ons that we are suggesting feed directly into their accounting system and do all the reconciliation for them.
These are things that save both time and headcount. We see many business owners who don't want to spend money on accounting headcount. Others have employees who are doing low-level things in their company and not spending their time looking at things they could be improving and money they could be saving. They aren’t looking at KPIs of the business because they're too busy doing payables and receivables.
