Gratitude in Action: Celebrating Our Team, Our Community, and a Season of Giving

As the season of gratitude arrives, we at MGA are reminded of how much we have to be thankful for — our incredible team, our loyal clients, and the community that surrounds and supports us. Each year brings new opportunities to reflect on what makes our Firm special, and this year is no exception.

We are honored to once again be recognized among some of the most outstanding workplaces in the country, which is a reflection of the culture our team has built together, rooted in collaboration, purpose, and care. And as always, we believe that true success means giving back to the community that has given so much to us.

We are proud to share that MGA has once again been recognized nationally and locally for our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace.

This year, we were named to the following lists:

• Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation: For the 8th consecutive year, we have been honored as one of the Best & Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation. This builds on our local recognition as one of Houston's Best & Brightest Companies to Work For. Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO of NABR and The Best and Brightest Programs, emphasized that “These companies have excelled by prioritizing their workplace culture. By putting their employees first, this exceptional group of top-tier leaders has created a strong foundation that sets them apart as leaders in their industries and communities.”
  
• Houston Chronicle’s Top Workplaces: This recognition is based entirely on anonymous employee feedback. Over 112,000 employees from nearly 6,000 companies participated in the process this year, yet only 208 organizations earned a spot on the final list. Being included among Houston’s top employers is especially meaningful to us because it reflects what our team members truly feel about working here: that MGA is a place where people are valued, heard, and supported.
• Accounting Today’s Best Accounting Firms to Work For and Regional Leaders: We're also thrilled to be acknowledged by Accounting Today as one of the Best Accounting Firms to Work For again this year, as well as being named a Regional Leader, further solidifying our reputation for workplace excellence.

Each of these honors reflects our dedication to cultivating a culture where people thrive, ideas are valued, careers are nurtured, and balance is encouraged. These awards are based largely on employee feedback and engagement, which makes them especially meaningful to us.

Turning Gratitude Into Action This Thanksgiving Season

At MGA, gratitude is more than a word we say; it’s something we strive to show through meaningful action.

For several years now, we have redirected our Thanksgiving card budget toward causes that make a difference in our community. This year, we are proud to continue that tradition by donating those funds to two charities focused on supporting children in need and ensuring brighter futures for young people.

By giving back in this way, we celebrate not only our success as a Firm but also the shared values that make our team strong: compassion, community, and connection.

Living Our Values Year-Round

Our Thanksgiving giving initiative is just one part of a broader commitment to community engagement that our team embraces throughout the year.

From hands-on service projects like our annual Spring Day of Service with the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, to supporting ReelAbilities Houston Film & Arts Festival, to office-wide fundraisers benefiting cancer research, we’re proud of the many ways our team members give their time, talents, and resources to causes they care about.

It’s through these acts, large and small, that our culture truly comes to life.

As we close out another year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients, our team, and our community. The awards we’ve received this year serve as a reminder that when people come together with purpose and passion, great things happen, both within the Firm and far beyond it.
