Since 2014, the Houston's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For program has named MGA a winner. We’ve also been named a national winner of the program for the past four years.
We are proud of these awards, as we continually strive to be more than just your "ordinary" accounting firm. And when our employees filled out anonymous surveys for the competition, they said just that.
Sure, the initiatives, information, and data we submit are taken into account during the evaluation process, but the anonymous surveys that each team member at MGA has the opportunity to complete carry just as much weight. Our team members candidly answer questions about their experience working at MGA and share valuable insight into what it's like under our roof. Their honest feedback is how we continually take home this reputable award.
The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For competition identifies and honors organizations that are committed to excellence in operations and employee enrichment, leading to increased productivity and financial performance. They score potential winners based on regional data of company performance and a set standard across the nation. The program celebrates those companies that are making better business, creating richer lives, and building a stronger community as a whole.
The winning companies were assessed by an independent research firm, which reviewed a number of key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners. The categories applicants were scored on include:
With over 20 years of experience conducting the Best and Brightest competitions, the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has identified numerous best Human Resource practices and provided benchmarking for companies that continue to be leaders in employment standards.
“The Best and Brightest is a powerful community of elite leaders who share ideas and practices and have proven they are employers of choice. Best and Brightest winning companies have also been a voice for important actions in creating a sustainable culture that works, ensuring the wellbeing of their employees come first,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.
We strive to build a professional home here at MGA for our team members, to create that type of culture from the inside out. Winning this award is a reflection of how valued and engaged our team members feel here. At MGA, we do things differently, and we think it shows.
Don’t just take our word for it; come see for yourself. We are always looking to add exceptional talent to our team. Click here if you’re interested in learning more about the opportunities available at MGA.
